Image & Video Library

A picture is worth a thousand words.

Maybe more in Victoria’s case.

Industry partners are encouraged to use our image library to share Victoria with their audiences.

Please note:

  • Imagery (includes photos, video and maps) may only be used for non-commercial promotional purposes including editorial coverage, printed brochures, rack cards, websites and posters for the purpose of promoting the Greater Victoria area and Vancouver Island as a tourism destination.
  • Imagery may not be used for direct commercial or paid advertising and promotions, including but not limited to print, digital and multimedia advertising and promotions.
  • Imagery may not be used for any merchandising or retailing purpose, or as part of items or products offered for sale.
  • Borrowers must provide photo credits each time an image is used. Photo credits are to Destination Greater Victoria and the photographer, if specified. Improper use of the image(s) or failure to include proper credit, as specified in the agreement for use of the Digital Asset Management library, will result in the user being liable to pay the asset owner the market rate per image, per image application.
Destination Greater Victoria is honoured to be based on the traditional territory of the Lekwungen-speaking peoples of the Songhees Nation and the Esquimalt Nation, whose historical relationships with the land continue to this day.
